Cost calculation: The cost of the retreat is calculated based on operating costs (e.g. cabin rental, meditation hall, food, etc.). The activities offered by the facilitator as well as the support of volunteers, before, during and after the retreat, are offered free of charge.

Description: A mindfulness retreat is a rare opportunity to pause, disconnect from distractions, listen deeply, and to reconnect with oneself, others and nature.


Daily activities include:

  • guided meditation(s)
  • practice instructions
  • wisdom teachings
  • free time to appreciate nature

 

Also included during the retreat:

  • the possibility of meeting with the teacher (once or twice)
  • suggestions on integrating and continuing a daily practice
 
Target audience: Open to all who wish to discover or deepen mindfulness practice.

 

Number of participants: minimum 6 - maximum 15

Biography:

 

Viveka is a Buddhist monk who teaches mindfulness practice and compassionate living. He has been practicing meditation for over 20 years, has trained with well-respected lay teachers in North America and Buddhist masters in Asia. Since 2018, Viveka is delighted to offer meditation guidance and share Buddhist wisdom internationally.
