Synopsis:
Do you love the beauty of the outdoors and the delight in the joy of nature? Why not interact with the forest in a healing, meaningful manner through gentle guided invitations and experience deep connection and mindfulness while immersed in the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku. Spend time in the forest of La Solitude and reap the mental and physical health benefits that nature offers. Each session is 2-2.5hrs, concludes with a tea ceremony and occurs monthly.

Science and personal experience supports that time in a forest offers a myriad of physical and mental health benefits and promotes overall wholistic wellness. The Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku, sometimes referred to as forest bathing or forest therapy, is soothing for the mind, body and spirit, decreasing anxiety, reducing blood pressure and strengthening the immune system, increasing focus, energy and creativity.

Join a certified guide in a small group in the beautiful forest of La Solitude and engage your senses in a meaningful and healing way in an immersive experience to inspire, relax and enjoy as part of a personal and shared experience with gentle invitations. Open to all levels, customized sessions possible for groups or individuals.

Monday April 7th:
- 12:50 pm: Arrival at the parking accross from the accueil welcome cabin
- 1 pm: Gather at the accueil welcome cabin for welcome and introduction followed by Shinrin-
Yoku session. Duration 2-2.5hrs and concludes with tea ceremony.

Marlene Snowman is a trained and certified Shinrin-Yoku guide with Shinrin-Yoku Quebec and a Mindful Outdoor Guide through Kripalu, School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership.
