Synopsis: 

 

Come and experience the power of sustained meditation practice supported by nature, companions and guidance.

 

Description: 

A mindfulness retreat is a rare opportunity to pause, disconnect from distractions, listen deeply, and to reconnect with oneself, others and nature.


Daily activities:
● guided meditation
● practice instructions
● wisdom teachings
● free time to appreciate nature


Also during the retreat:
● the possibility of meeting with the teacher
● suggestions on integrating and continuing a daily mindfulness practice

 

Number of participants : minimum 6, maximum 15

 

Target audience : Open to all who wish to discover or deepen a mindfulness meditation practice. 

 

Horaire :

Thursday, April 17th:

  • 4pm-5:30pm - Registration
  • 6:30pm - Word of Welcome (at the Thabor)


Wednesday April 23rd:

  • Noon - End of Retreat

Daily schedule will be available upon arrival. 

 

Biography :

 

Viveka is a Buddhist monk who teaches mindfulness practice and compassionate living. He began exploring meditation in the early 90’s, attended his first retreat in 2002, and was ordained with Sayadaw U Tejaniya in 2013. Over a 20-year period, he was fortunate to train with various well-respected lay meditation teachers in the West and meditation masters in Asia. Since 2018, he has been offering meditation retreats, weekly sessions, and facilitating Insight Dialogue events internationally. He is the founder of Bodhi House in Moncton, Canada where he currently lives peacefully.
