Chers amies et amis de La Solitude,
C’est après trois années au CA, dont la dernière en tant que président, que je cède ma place.

Dear friends of La Solitude,
It is after three years on the Board, the last as President, that I relinquish my position.
Ce fut une très belle aventure avec des gens qui aiment ce beau lieu et qui y mettent beaucoup de temps et de bonnes énergies. Je suis très heureux d’avoir pu travailler avec les membres du conseil d’administration ainsi qu’avec Louise Poirier qui a quitté ses fonctions de coordonnatrice au début mai. J’ai eu la chance de participer à l’embauche du nouveau coordinateur Étienne Bérard. J’ai confiance qu’Étienne apportera un souffle positif à La Solitude et qu’il saura s’entourer de personnes qui pourront l’aider à continuer l’œuvre du père Bujold dans la modernité et la simplicité. Je reste à sa disposition pour toute aide dont il aurait besoin et je lui souhaite à lui, aux membres du CA et à tous les bénévoles de La Solitude beaucoup de bons moments sur ce lieu charmant et paisible.

It was a very nice adventure with people who love this beautiful place and who put a lot of time and good energy into it. I am very pleased to have been able to work with the members of the Board of Directors as well as Louise Poirier who left her position as Coordinator in early May. I also appreciated being able to participate in the hiring of the new Coordinator, Etienne Bérard. I am confident that Etienne will bring a positive breath to La Solitude and that he will know how to surround himself with people who will be able to help him continue Father Bujold's work in modernity and simplicity. I remain at his disposal for any help he may need and I wish him, the members of the Board of Directors and all the volunteers of La Solitude many good times on this charming and peaceful place.
