Body Mythology explores the stories that are housed in the body. Through moving,
drawing, writing, and voicing, participants will create a life-size body portrait.
For people interested in moving and drawing. No previous experience
needed.
A Self Portrait is a mirror through which to view personal story. Body Mythology is part of the
Life/Art Process, developed by Anna & Daria Halprin of Tamalpa Institute in California, which
explores the wisdom of the body as expressed through movement and imagination.
Each body part holds information related to its function and symbolism. By alternating between
art forms, this unique process engages creative flexibility and opportunity for change and growth.
During this workshop we will invite in the dimension of this pandemic era, and how we portray
our body at this time. The surrounding nature will be a resource as we travel our inner landscape.
