Welcome to our new coordinator: Étienne Bérard
Following job offer posted earlier this year, we received many applications. We would like to thank everyone who has shown interest in the position. The Board of Directors of La Solitude de Pré-d'en-Haut presents its new coordinator, Mr. Etienne Bérard.
"I am so happy to have the opportunity to contribute to the achievements of La Solitude de Pré d'en Haut.
This place is magical for me... all I have to do is step into it and peace immediately comes into my heart.
I would like everyone to have access to it.
It is with enthusiasm and conviction that I commit myself to do everything in my power to help the sustained development as well as the perenity of La Solitude de Pré d'en Haut. " - Étienne Bérard- Étienne Bérard
Our outgoing coordinator, Louise Poirier, hopes that the development of La Solitude continues to serve and inspire the population.
"La Solitude is a place of great importance in our contemporary world. I wish that the general population aembraces it and sees it as an opportunity to come and connect with nature and with oneself, with ease. I have seen in the past two years the great benefit that a few days here can bring. For many people, this means "getting out of their comfort zone". However, I see that everyone can find, at time, expected or unexpected benefits. ! I was also able to appreciate the fact that many people came to La Solitude for the first time and realized how simplicity, silence and Solitude are elements that are both accessible and rare... a commodity increasingly rare, to protect!
I sincerely thank the Board of Directors for their generosity and their inspiring vision. I am grateful for the work and commitment of the many volunteers who are, in fact, the soul of La Solitude! Thank you for your daily support! I have great respect for all of your accomplishments!
I leave with the feeling of having met key people, mentors and igniters of conscience! I am convinced that Etienne, with his expertise and his vision, is a major asset for the evolution of La Solitude!
Long live the many projects of La Solitude!" - Louise Poirier
Étienne Bérard will take up his post in April.
