First a trench is dug near the entrance of the Raymond Trail behind Le Thabor.
On y dépose des bûches de bois franc, ici du peuplier. On les couvre de terre arable, gracieusement donnée par Joe Breau.

We put down hardwood logs, in this case poplar. They are covered with topsoil, courtesy of Joe Breau.
On ajoute un étage de plus petites branches, puis on recouvre encore de terre arable.

À ce stade, on ajoute de l'engrais naturel de l'océan constitué de restes de poissons, de crustacés et d’algues - le tout désalinisé au préalable avec un arrosoir.
