As part of a creative project that I am currently undertaking for La Solitude, I am looking for stories, anecdotes and experiences of alumni, volunteers, visitors and regulars who care to share their experience. So, I am calling on the Friends of La Solitude to help me out.
My name is Kunti Camille Bérard and I am currently doing an internship at La Solitude de Pré-d´en-Haut for the summer. I am studying visual arts, literature and drama at the Université de Moncton. Through my internship, I want to bring to La Solitude a creative project that will remain engraved in its archives and in the hearts of the people who frequented it. And I need you to make this project happen!
Solitude is a place where visitors are invited to stay in nature and in silence for the purposes of reconnection with the self, personal awakening, or simply inner discovery and rest. This non-profit organization is maintained thanks to a strong team of volunteers who ensure its proper functioning and continuation.
Within my project, I want to highlight our volunteers and alumni in order to honor their good work and the beautiful environment that is La Solitude. I also want to share the experiences of our visitors and regulars in order to make La Solitude and its opportunities for peace and self-discovery known to the public.
This is why I am making this appeal to all alumni, volunteers, visitors and regulars who have stories, anecdotes or experiences to share with me as part of this project. I would do interviews where you will have the opportunity to tell me about your experiences which will then be incorporated into the project in the form of video or text.
I really need you in order to carry out this project and be of service to La Solitude! You may have known Father Bujold personally, could you tell me about him? How was a stay at La Solitude at the time? What struck you the most? How have things changed since then? Do you remember funny incidents that would have happened here? Make us laugh!
